JA Launch Lessons

Explore the World of Entrepreneurship with Your High School Students!

JA Launch Lesson is a 20- to 50-minute educational experience built around the theme of entrepreneurship that creates a point-of-entry for students, volunteers, and educators. Students gain firsthand knowledge about starting a business and the entrepreneurial journey. It is delivered locally by entrepreneurs in classrooms, after-school facilities, and other student venues around the United States. JA Launch Lesson is part of the JA Entrepreneurship Pathway and is recommended for high school students.

Participating students are encouraged to take the next steps on their entrepreneurial journey at JA Connect Entrepreneurship which features self-guided activities that allow students to explore what is involved in planning, incubating, and launching their own startups.

Program Highlights:

  • Analyze a real-world example of entrepreneurship.
  • Determine one next step that could lead to further exploration of entrepreneurship
  • Receive resources to explore your own path to starting your own business.
