Sacramento, CA – Students from Junior Achievement of Sacramento, representing Visions In Education and El Camino Fundamental High School, have been selected to attend the 2026 Future Bound by Junior Achievement event. The national event will bring together student leaders, innovators, and aspiring entrepreneurs from across the United States for an immersive experience focused on entrepreneurship, financial literacy, teamwork, and leadership. This year, the Future Bound event will take place in Boston, MA.
Future Bound by Junior Achievement will feature students competing in a variety of national competitions designed to showcase their business knowledge, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills. The Sacramento-area teams will compete in the following events:
The JA Company of the Year Challenge highlights the achievements of student-run businesses developed through Junior Achievement programs. Students will present their companies, business strategies, financial performance, and community impact while competing against top student-led enterprises from across the country.
The JA Stock Market Challenge is a fast-paced online simulation where students are given a hypothetical investment portfolio to manage in a dynamic stock market environment. Participants must analyze market trends, make strategic investment decisions, and maximize returns while adapting to real-time market changes.
The JA Titan Challenge puts students in charge of virtual companies in a competitive business simulation. Teams must make critical decisions involving pricing, production, marketing, research and development, and corporate social responsibility while balancing profitability and long-term business growth.
At Future Bound, students will compete for national honors, scholarships, awards, and recognition while gaining valuable real-world experience and networking opportunities with business leaders and mentors.
“Programs like Future Bound are transformational because they give students the confidence to see themselves as future business leaders, innovators, and changemakers,” said Chris Marshall, President & CEO of Junior Achievement of Sacramento. “When students step into these national competitions, they’re not just representing their schools or communities, they’re proving that the next generation is ready to lead with creativity, resilience, and purpose.”
Future Bound by Junior Achievement is supported by national sponsors committed to empowering the next generation through education, innovation, and career readiness opportunities. The event provides students with hands-on experiences that help prepare them for future success in business and beyond.
